Raised in a repressive household and trained as a far-right evangelist, Collin O is proof that people can end up entirely different from where they started.

The church provided community and an early platform for performance, but these comforts faded. Like many, they encountered its darker aspects. Facing this reality, they grew disillusioned and began searching for a sense of belonging beyond the church’s walls, learning to find comfort in their own identity.

Collin O spent over a decade playing with a vast variety of Denver-area bands, but always envisioned having their own project. This all culminated with the loss of their best friend and musical collaborator, Luke Evans, in 2023. In their wake, a slew of people came out of the woodwork to express how much it meant to their late friend that they were getting back into music after their band Lost Shapes had fallen apart.

Now, Collin O is an emerging singer-songwriter from Denver, Colorado. Their music blends honest reflections on overcoming repression and grief with the sonic nostalgia of their youth.

Drawing from influences like Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, Bright Eyes, Ethel Cain, Pedro the Lion, The Tallest Man on Earth, Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes, Weatherbox, Mansions, and Neutral Milk Hotel, Collin O crafts intimate, evocative songs that invite listeners into his world.

From a successful debut and release show in February 2024 to performing two sets at the Warped Wolf Festival in June 2025, with their new single “Wish You Were Here Now” to be released on February 10th and a renewed sense of purpose, Collin O is ascending and enthusiastic to embrace the 2026 concert and festival season with gusto.
